Design
The MSI Vortex does not seems as large as a trash can. Ditched the conventional square block computer case, the Vortex is design like a flattened trashcan cylinder that comes with ambient light on the front!
The space grey colour also makes this rig looks fantastic.
The Vortex heatpipe and outlet is placed on the top with a beehive design that looks appealing with the purple lightning on.
The iconic MSI gaming logo is embedded on the rear panel and here comes all the I/O ports! From the SPDIF audio output to 4 USB 3.0 ports, 2 HDMI ports and 2 RJ45 port, 2 USB Type-C and 2 D mini display, all of these port are located on the rear panel of the Vortex rig. But where is the power inlet? MSI decides to hide the Vortex power inlet from the outside which makes it looks completely standalone and cableless.
The Dragon Center software also allow user to monitor the hardware performance of the CPU, GPU, RAM and harddrive usage. User also get to customize the lightning on the gaming rig to produce an awesome visual effect during gaming.
