After the release of the Asus Zenfone 2 that comes at great value at low cost, a outsider media source rumored that Asus is now preparing a new series of tablet named as Zenpad.
The new Asus tablet is named as Zenpad 7/8 is known as ZenPad 7 and Zenpad 8. Zenpad 7 offers 3G and Wifi variant and comes with 7′ display with 1024 x 600 resolution and powered by Intel Atom x3. It also comes with 1GB of RAM and 8/16GB of internal storage. The Wifi variant will be sold at 139 euro which is equivalent to RM565 while the 3G variant is sold at 159 euro (~RM646)
The Zenpad 8 comes with much higher specification. Featuring 8 inches display with resolution at 2048×1536, it is powered by Intel Atom Z3560 or Atom Z3530 and comes with 2GB of RAM and 8/16/32/64GB of storage. Although the pricing has not confirmed, it is expected to come with a much higher price tag compared to Zenpad 7.
Both of the tablet will be announced on the Computex exhibition during upcoming June. However, all of those information belongs to internet rumor and have to wait for official announcement from Asus.
