Digi has announced their collaboration with ManagePay Systems Berhad (MPay) and the both companies will jointly launch a new electronic payment service which mainly support Master Card for payment. It is expected to be officially launched in the first half this year.
They will collaborate to develop an electronic prepaid card along with an app. Users can register and activate the prepaid card through the app. Although Digi calls it a prepaid card and this electronic virtual card is primary used for transaction
The electronic prepaid card strive to enhance convenience of online payment systems. In addition to supporting online payment, merchants who support Mastercard payment will also be able to accept this payment method. We will see more relevant news on this service soon.
