The Facebook Messenger is the most welcomed and preferred way of communicating between friends on Facebook across different platform. However there is a bad news for Windows Phone 8/ 8.1 users as Facebook officially discontinued the development of the Messenger app on the platform.
We regret to inform you that since the end of March, the app version you’re using is no longer supported and you can not send and receive messages. Nonetheless, Messenger app is supported for Windows 10 Mobile. As Nokia Lumia 920, 1020 that has no chance to upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile, maybe its time for an upgrade to change to a new platform.
