As one of the largest smartphone manufacturer and vendor in China, Huawei will definitely present itself in the next Consumer Electronic Show happening in year 2016. It is highly likely that Huawei will introduce the Huawei Mate 8 and the Honor 5X Premium to the consumer market during next year.
Meanwhile, some information and specification details on the Honor 5x premium has arrived at TEENA certification website at China. The Honor 5x Premium comes with the exact design and sizing with the Honor 5x with some changes in the hardware.
The specification upgrade of the new Honor 5x premium is focused on the processor and the storage capacity. Comparing with the standard version, the Honor 5x Premium comes with total 32GB storage and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor clocked at 1.5Ghz. Other specifications such as RAM, camera quality and fingerprint recognition sensor remains the same.
Pricing wise, the Honor 5X premium is likely to be priced more than the standard RMB 1399 (>RM930).
