Samsung has taken a big hit due to its battery fault last year and investigation has been carried out and revealed recently. This time, another well-known notebook and PC manufacturer Hewlett Packard (HP) has call out for global recall on certain notebook due to its battery poses degree of fire concern.
According to an announcement from United States Consumer Safety Product, those who bought HP, Compaq, HP ProBook, HP Envy, Compaq Presario and HP Pavilion bought within March 2013 to October 2016 with battery serial number containing 6BZLU, 6CGFK, 6CGFQ, 6CZMB, 6DEMA, 6DEMH, 6DGAL and GEBVA, they should visit nearest HP customer service center to get their device replaced.
It is not the first time that HP recalls its notebook. On June 2016, HP has recalled over 41,000 notebook due to the same reason. However, it seems like HP has repeated its mistakes again.
