With the recent launch of Huawei Mate 20 series, it has once proven their innovation in the fast charging market. Taking the Mate 20 Pro as an example, it supports 15W wireless quickcharge, 40W wired quickcharge and world first reverse wireless charging, something we don’t see everyday but certainly helpful!
The new 40W charger is capable of recharging 70% battery in 30 minutes and is certified safe by TÜV Rheinland. It is also backwards compatible with 5V/2.2A 22.5W quickcharge or 9V/2A charge. In short, it works with Mate 20/ 20X, P20, Mate 10 and other older Huawei models by abiding 22.5W quick charge standards.
