Huawei Nova 4 launched locally with 6.4″ display, Kirin 970 for RM1899!

The Huawei Nova 4 was launched in China as early as on 17th December 2018 and it’s one of the last smartphone from 2018. And coming today 16th January, this smartphone is officially launched in Malaysia with a price tag at RM1899! A perfect time for a gift on Valentines Day!

Digging into the display, Nova 4 has offered a 6.4 inches display with screen to body ratio at 86.3%. There is also a special hole on the display that’s reserved to the front facing camera which is sized at just 3.05mm! The location of the camera is specifically designed to minimize disruption on user experience while sensors were located at the top of the bezels.

The Nova 4 also has a dual curved glass that create a glossy glaze and available in both colours, light black and crush blue.

There is also a 25MP front facing camera powered by AI engine that enhances facial beauty, depth of field effect and more.

The Nova 4 is also equipped with triple rear camera and it’s the first to be used on a Nova series smartphone. There is a combination of 20MP + 16MP + 2MP lens which is able to capture wide angle frames up to 117 degree. It is also assisted by EIS thus eliminating blurry image.

Furthermore, the rear camera is also supported with AI technology such as 3D Qmoji, depth of field effect and able to shorten a long video to just 10 seconds! However, the 48MP premium spec variant hasn’t arrived locally and pending further news from Huawei Malaysia.

Performance wise, it has a Kirin 970 SoC, 8GB RAM, 128GB ROM and comes with a 3750mAh battery.

With the EMUI 9.0 update, this device now supports GPU Turbo and hand gesture control plus Huawei Share 3.0.

Lastly, Huawei Nova 4 will retail for RM1899 and available in light dark and crush blue starting from 14th February onward!

Apart from the Huawei Nova 4, Huawei also brings MediaPad T5 which has a 10.8 inches display with retail price at RM999.
