With Meizu new teaser circulating on Weibo recently, it has been confirmed Meizu will be launching a new smartphone at Beijing on 30th November this year. Captioned “Make Helio Great Again”, it ultimately reveals that the new smartphone will be powered by MediaTek Helio SoC. This mystery device is now revealed and its the Meilan X.
The Mezu Meilan X has a similar appearance with the Honor 8 and the fingerprint sensor is now relocated to the front and thus doesn’t affect the overall appearance of the rear panel.
Meanwhile, this smartphone will be powered by Helio P20 based on 16nm architecture with 8x Cortex A53 core at 2.3Ghz with Mali-T880 GPU clocked at 900Mhz.
While other specifications has remain a myth, it’s rumored to priced at RMB1999 (~RM1270). More details to be revealed on 30th November!
