Although we have previously covered on the leaked hardware specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7, a few new hardware specification of the S7 is now confirmed on GeekBench Benchmark test! This time, the Galaxy S7 with a model number of SM-G390F is now powered by the new Exynos SoC instead the alleged Snapdragon 820 chipset. Let’s review more information of this smartphone on the GeekBench result!
According to the leaked GeekBench test result, the Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930W8 is powered by the latest Samsung Exynos 8890 SoC instead of Qualcomm SoC. It also comes with 4GB of RAM and running on Android 6.0.1 along with customized Samsung ROM.
The Galaxy S7 model on the GeekBench has show a single core score at 1873 and Multi-core score at 5946. This also indicates that the new Samsung Exynos 8890 is much more powerful that the previous Exynos 7420 processor that comes with single core score at 1873. Other that processor, the smartphone is said to come with a 5.1 inches QHD display.
We expect to see what has the Samsung Galaxy S7 has to offer on the Samsung Unpacked 2016 before the day of MWC 2016.
