Apart from HTC launch event yesterday, Meitu also present itself with a new selfie smartphone endorsed by Angelababy. The new selfie smartphone named Meitu M4 was marketed as best selfie camera at night.
The design Meitu M4 is no way different from M2 apart from the prism design on the bottom. Marketed as “best night selfie smartphone”, the front and rear camera was equipped with 13MP Sony camera with Fujitsu Milbeaut image post-processing technology and Meitu noise reduction technology which improves image quality taken in low light environment.
Specification wise, the Meitu M4 is equipped with 4.2′ 720p display and powered by MediaTek MT6752 octacore processor and 2GB RAM with 32GB ROM. It is packed with 2160mAh battery and runs on Android 4.4.4 with MEIOS2 user interface.
In terms of colour option, Meitu M4 comes with white, red and green as selection. There is also a special Hello Kitty edition of Meitu M4 and it was likely to market towards female user. The M4 is priced at RMB 2199 (~RM 1284) and the Hello Kitty edition was priced at RMB 2499 (~RM 1460). It is currently available in China and availability within Malaysia is unconfirmed.
