Nokia sends out launch invites for the Nokia 1 and 7 Plus

With Nokia resurrected from the hands of Microsoft, they have been launching a decent amount of smartphone that caters different demands. Earlier on the Mobile World Congress this year, Nokia has introduced some of their upcoming releases – the Nokia 7 Plus premium flagship and an entry level Nokia 1 Android smartphone. Just in today, we have received the media invites for the Nokia 1 and Nokia 7 Plus launch which is set on 10th April 2018 and we will have a report on both models coming up next week.

The Nokia 7 Plus is the first Nokia smartphone with Full View display sized at 6 inches and powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and comes with ZEISS certified dual rear camera. Nokia even claims that the battery on this beast can last up to 2 days of usage!

As for the Nokia 1, it is a basic Android smartphone that runs on Android Oreo Go (an optimized Android for entry level with lower RAM). It comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM along with a 5MP rear camera. It even features “Xpress Cover” which has been popular in the 90’s where users can swap on their cases anytime they want.
