One of the most eye catching point of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus is the Infinity Display, as what Samsung called – a bezel-less visual experience with an aspect ratio at 18.5:9. Display Mate, a leading video diagnostic company has did some colour accuracy test on the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus and found that the new display is what makes the hefty price tag reasonable.

The test result shows that the Galaxy S8 offers a display resolution at 2960×1440 (570ppi) with greatest brightness at 1020nit. It covers 113% DCI-P3 and 142% on sRGB/Rec.709. The excellent performance of the Super AMOLED display is credited to its dual front sensor that accurately detects surrounding light for ideal brightness adjustment.
With such accomplishment, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus has been awarded with “A+” for one of the best smartphone display today.
