On the 17th January 2018, Samsung Mobile Malaysia has launched the highly anticipated Galaxy A8 (2018 edition) that closely resembles the Galaxy S8 on Malaysian market. Nonetheless, let’s adjourn to the detailed specs and pricing for the Galaxy A* and A8+ (2018).

The Infinity Display on the A8 immediately brought us a resemblance on the Galaxy S8 that reshaped the smartphone display industry. The 18:9 aspect ratio display was surrounded by a metallic frame elevates the quality and the look of the smartphone in general. The rear glass panel appears as a premium smartphone but nonetheless a fingerprint magnet.
It also has a 8MP and 16MP dual front facing camera with aperture as large as f/1.9. It is capable of taking Live Focus shot and supports selfie beauty mode. The 16MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture works well in bright and dark environment, thanks to its LED flash and large aperture.
What’s more, the Galaxy A8 is also IP68 certified water and dust resistant with water depth up to 1.5 meters and 30 minutes.
