With the rising heat between Qualcomm and Apple, US FTC has now decided to take action on Qualcomm which allegedly violated US Antitrust Law with court cases commence since last Friday. It is backed by its competitor and some of the tech companies such as Apple, Huawei, Lenovo, Intel, MediaTek and more.
According to US FTC claims, Qualcomm will charge a 5% fee for each device priced US$600 while standard charge is around 0.5%.
FTC has begin taking action from January 2017 thus igniting the war between Apple & Qualcomm that continues till today. Let’s wait for the hearing result and see what’s new!
