Apart from OPPO Find X, the vivo APEX concept smartphone has been widely talked about when it first premier at Mobile World Congress early this year. vivo has finally make their concept into a reality with the introduction of vivo NEX, which is now launched and available in Malaysia.

The vivo NEX has a 6.59 inches Super AMOLED display that fits 91.24% of its front body. By achieving this, vivo has ditched front speakers and relocated its camera so that the bezels are seamlessly thin and narrow. The front speaker is replaced with a screen that plays sounds. Proximity and IR sensors are relocated to the bottom to ensure that the top bezels are smallest possible.
The NEX is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC along with 8GB RAM, 128/256GB ROM, 4000mAh battery with QC 3.0, USB Type C port and HiFi audio.
The NEX has a 12MP + 5MP rear camera with SONY IMX363 image processor and an aperture at f/1.8. It also has 4 axis gyroscopic image stabilization and able to recognizes 17 scenarios based on AI. The front camera is a 8MP lens with f/2.0 aperture with AI selfie, AR shots and HDR support. The most fancy thing is that the camera elevates only when the front camera is triggered.
Lastly, the vivo NEX now officially retails in Malaysia for RM2799 on 28th July and will be available via official vivo distributor nationwide.
