Once of its greatest best selling gadget, the 2nd generation Xiaomi Powerbank has been launched last November at China which is priced at RMB149. Despite there have seen several unofficial Xiaomi new powerbank available on Malaysian mobile marketplace, the quality of such items is not warranted under local Xiaomi distributor. This time, Xiaomi Malaysia is officially bringing their new powerbank that support 2 way fast charging for a price tag at RM85!
The new generation Xiaomi Powerbank 2 has a similar design with the 1st generation but it is much more slimmer and shorter but insignificantly bulkier at 2.1mm. It also comes with a rough surface to provide a better grip on palm.
For its hardware, the new powerbank uses high density Li-Ion battery and supports Qualcomm QC3.0 quickcharging technology with the 5V/2A, 5V/2.4A, 9V/2A and 12V/1.5A output. Both output port is at 5V/3.6A that is compatible with latest smartphone, tablets and even the new Macbook.
