As we know that the Xiaomi Mix 2 will be unveiled at the upcoming Xiaomi product launch happening on 11th September, there could be a new mid-range smartphone coming along with the Mix 2 on the stage. There’s a circulated images of the Xiaomi Note 3 flyer printed in black and white which shows the Note 3 offers a Snapdragon 660 SoC instead of Snapdragon 835 as rumored earlier.
The alleged Xiaomi Note 3 will offer a dual rear camera with OIS support and a 16MP front facing camera. There will be quad curved glass on each side of the smartphone to compete with other dual curved display smartphones on the market. As the Note series is usually specced with Snapdragon 800 series SoC, it is unbelievable that the Note 3 will feature something mid-range with a Snapdragon 660 SoC. 
As for other information, there will be a 5.46 inches Full HD display and comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM. There’s a 12MP dual rear camera with IMX386 and Samsung s5k3m3 sensors while the 16MP front facing camera is powered by Samsung S5k3p8sp sensor.
The Xiaomi Note 3 with Snapdragon 660 might be just a myth and there could be a higher end variant Note 3 that sports a Snapdragon 800 series SoC.
