Apart from releasing great smartphone such as Zenfone 2, Asus also designed and launched few smartphone accessories such as Asus FlipCover and powerbanks that enhance the convenience and user experience of the smartphone. Today we’re going to introduce the new Asus smartphone accessories, which is a tiny little gadget that produces flash just like those professional camera add-ons!

Unboxing
A simplistic white color box with the ZenFlash visible under a thin plastic layer. It was written and specifies the compatibility of the Asus ZenFlash which is only compatible with Zenfone 2 only.
User guide included within. Unfortunately, it does not comes with a suction cup rather an anti-slip mat.
The silica cover that comes with a round loop that we never found its real functionality during our testing period.
The Asus ZenFlash comes with a xenon lamp along with a proximity sensor on its side.
The data cable was 11cm long which is sufficient to attach for the Asus ZenFone 2.
Once attached on the rear cover on the Asus ZenFone 2, the smartphone is no longer convenient to be placed into a pocket.
Instruction prior use
Your Zenfone 2 must be upgraded to the latest firmware to be compatible with the Asus ZenFlash.
Attach the microUSB OTG cable onto the microUSB port on the Asus Zenfone 2 and you are good to go!

Macro Shots
This pretty sums up that the ZenFlash is not feasible for macroshots! All the images are pretty well overexposed even on the lower flash (GN value =1 )

TL: DR, Asus ZenFlash 2 is an ideal companion accessories for those photography enthusiast who is currently using ZenFone 2 in taking low light pictures. With the xenon light flash, the ZenFlash is able to compensate enough light to retain ideal image quality over time.
