After being dormant for a few years, Alcatel Malaysia has officially launched their latest smartphone line-up – the Alcatel 5V, Alcatel 3L and Alcatel One. These are mid-range and entry level smartphones and the 5V comes with dual rear camera with AI technology for a decent photography quality. With the return of Alcatel in Malaysian market, let’s see what they have to offer.

The Alcatel 5V is the biggest highlight of the show with impressive 6.2 inches large HD+ Full View display with aspect ratio at 19:9. The display is covered by Asahi Dragontrrail 2.5D glass which improves its anti-scratching ability. There is also a 3D glass-like plastic on the back and available in black and blue.
As for its specifications, Alcatel 5V is powered by a Helio P22 octacore SoC with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM, 4000mAh battery. It supports Face Key facial recognition for unlock and NFC communication.
The Alcatel 3L has a 5.5 inches HD+ IPS LCD display and available in black, blue and gold.
Being an entry level smartphone, Alcatel 1 has a 5 inches full view display with resolution at 960 x 460. It is being powered by MT6739 quadcore SoC with a 5MP rear and 2MP front facing camera.
Lastly, these 3 devices will be available from 29th August onward with 5V, 3L and One at RM898, 498, 298 respectively.
