MediaTek has been making a breakthrough in their AI development and getting famous after their chip wins Huawei and certain Qualcomm older chips in AI performance, as shown on AI Benchmark. After the recent launch of entry level SoC that’s currently featured on Xiaomi Play, an alleged MediaTek mid-range SoC has appeared on Antutu benchmark and it’s the Helio P90!
In technical terms, it is based on 12nm process that fused 2x Cortex A75 and 6x Cortex A55 to form an octacore processor. Its GPU is highlighted by the IMG PowerVR GM 9556 and we can see the benchmark result as below.
The alleged Helio P90 SoC has a codename k79v1_64 and this model has a 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM, Full HD display and offer a benchmark score at 162861.
There is no idea what this smartphone could be but likely more details will be revealed over time.
