Android P has a secret “Lockdown” security feature to completely protect your data

As the Android P has just released recently, some developer has noticed the addition of a new security measure called “Lockdown” that completely encrypts your files, data and core programs as the name suggest.

Asides from encrypting all your files and programs within the device, all of your core message are secured to another level and it remains in “locked” status even you shutdown and reboot the device.

When the smartphone in complete “lockdown” mode, fingerprint and face recognition authentication can no longer works and you are required to enter PIN/ password to unlock.

The Lockdown features tops another level of encryption above from the usual face and fingerprint recognition system. The user interface is very user friendly and you can activate it in the lock screen icon in the settings.
