ASUS ZenBook Duo series launching in Malaysia, dual display design, up to Intel Core i9, RTX2060

In the recent Computex 2019 event, ASUS has launched something very unique – a laptop that features dual display. It is named as the ZenBook Duo that comes in two version, the ZenBook Duo & ZenBook Pro Duo. There are several difference between these two variant and is designed to target different consumer range.

Asus ZenBook Pro Duo:

The most iconic and distinguishable feature of the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo is the dual display design! It is something that has never been done for a laptop with the secondary display such big. The ZenBook Pro Duo has a 15.6″ 4K display and a 14″ ScreenPad Plus secondary display near the keyboard. Both offering 4K display and a touch panel!

The ZenBook Pro offers a 14″ FHD panel which is accompanied by 12.6″ secondary display. Only the 2nd display support touch function via stylus.

With the new ScreenPad Plus, user will be able to multitask more efficiently without the need to switch between different application. The secondary display is just located beneath the primary display which can be used to check some thing while doing primary task.

ASUS also had design the App Switcher, ViewMax, App Navigator and Task Group to allow faster control on the ScreenPad Plus for maximum productivity.

 

Spec wise, the ZenBook Pro Duo offers highest up to i9-9980HK processor, RTX2060 GPU, 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD. As for the ZenBook Duo, the highest spec is fofered with Intel Core i7 10510U 10th generation processor, MX250 GPU, up to 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. With the secondary display turned off, the battery can last for up to 22.4 hours for the ZenBook Duo while the ZenBook Pro Duo can be last for 7.5 hours.

The ZenBook Pro Duo is ultimately designed as a workstation for professional use while the ZenBook Duo is much more affordable and design for office professional or student use.
