Soon after the launch in Beijing, BlackShark technology (under Xiaomi) now launches new BlackShark 2 Pro gaming smartphone! The all new gaming smartphone is the first international launch of the BlackShark 2 Pro in local market. It retails at RM2499 and comes with BlackShark joystick controller.

The BlackShark 2 Pro features the same “X” design theme from the previous generation and comes with unique curve lines on the back. it alos added 1 layer of unique finishing which makes it even more attractive from the last generation.
The BlackShark 2 Pro is available in Shadow Black, Iceberg Grey and Gulf Blue.
The 6.39″ AMOLED display also powered along with Pixelworks Iris dedicated chip which offers optimization in gaming for a more attractive visual works.
BlackShark 2 Pro also improves greatly on the touch screen with the world first 240 Hz touch response, 34.7ms response time and 0.3mm accuracy.
The specs from the international and China version shares great similarity. It offers 8GB RAM, 128GB ROM and offers up to 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM, all powered by UFS3.0.
Other specs includes Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus (optimized for gaming), 4000mAh battery with 27W quickcharge, in-screen fingerprint sensor and so on.
BlackShark 2 also improves greatly with liquid cooling 3.0 technology in action. The large heat sink and heat pipe offers high efficiency in heat transfer with maximum cooling by 2.6°C.
Apart from Do Not Disturb mode, BlackShark 2 Pro also adds in Shark Space submarine mode with Master Touch 2.0 screen pressure detection technology. It is something alike to Apple 3D Touch. When pressed deeply, it can be used to trigger an action (e.g. pulling the trigger) without moving the hand to the trigger spot, hence making it faster to pull the trigger than anyone else.
The MasterTouch 2.0 also can be used to optimize daily productivity with accessibility option.
On the other hand, there is 48MP dual AI camera powered by Sony IMX 586. It is greatly optimized for low light photography which performs well on its range.
Lastly, the BlackShark 2 Pro offers in 8GB and 12GB RAM variant. It starts from RM2499 to RM2999 and will be available from today onward.
