Apart from being the first 5G smartphone in Malaysia, it is one of those 5G smartphone supported by Dual Connectivity on SA & NSA network. Apart from 5G, it also supports the conventional 4G, 3G and 2G network in Malaysia.
The 5G support is derived from the Kirin 990 5G which is paired with this smartphone. Instead of being a standalone 5G modem like others, the 5G modem is integrated into the Kirin SoC with achieve 5G network support with greater power efficiency.
