Facebook to add advertisements on Messenger chat app

It’s no surprise that Facebook has added sponsored content (or advertisement) on your news feed when you start scrolling from the top when you had just wake up. As advertisement marks a major revenue for its company, they will be adding advertisement on its social chat app – Messenger. The first (unlucky) countries to receive ads on Messenger are Thailand and Australia and it is expected to implemented to all Messenger after few weeks.

As seen on above, sponsored content will take up almost half the display when you fire up the Messenger app. However, it’s no surprise that Facebook implementing ads on all of their apps as advertising revenue for 10 billion user is not be a small sum.
