With a greater dedication in the development of high performance Helio X this year, MediaTek also bringing their focus to the Helio P series processor with 2 processors launching this year. One of it will be the P40 and another is the upcoming P70 that could be launching in the upcoming Mobile World Congress this year.
The leaked Helio P70 benchmark results appeared online has shown an outstanding benchmark score at 156,906 that is on par with Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 and close enough with the current Snapdragon 835 flagship. The Helio P70 stand out with the CPU benchmark and RAM score while its GPU and UX was lagging behind the Helio X30, similarly with the Snapdragon 660.
It is also rumored that the MediaTek Helio X30 is based on 12nm processes with eight cores and powered along with Mali G72 MP4 GPU. It supports LTE Cat.13 and will likely to launch along with Helio P40 in the upcoming MWC 2018.
