HMD Global launches Nokia G21 in Malaysia, featuring 6.5″ HD+ display, 50MP triple rear camera, 5050mAh battery for just RM799

HMD Global has launched the Nokia G21 entry level smartphone at international market and now it finally arrives locally. Nokia G21 is an entry level smartphone featuring Unisoc T606 SoC and now opens for pre-order within Malaysia.

Similar to G20, the G21 retains the 6.5 inches HD+ display but it offers 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz sampling rate. It can achieve brightness at 400nits which allows usability under bright sun.

Performance wise, it features 12nm Unisoc T606 SoC which offers better performance compared to Helio G35 from Nokia G20. It also comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM and support 512GB microSD expansion.

Being a budget friendly phone, it still features 8MP front facing camera along 2MP DoF and 2MP macro lens. It even features a 50MP as its primary camera!

For the phone to last for 3 days, Nokia G21 packs in a 5050mAh battery that supports 18W charging, but the adapter included is only rated at 10W. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack and use USB Type C as its data and charging port. HMD Global guarantees 2x OS upgrade (Android 12 and 13) and 3 years of security patches.

Nokia G21 currently retails at RM799 which you can pre-order at Nokia Mobile Shopee site to pre-order at RM759. It will be available offline from 10th March onward.
