Yesterday, HONOR has launched the newest HONOR 30 series which is powered by Kirin 990 SoC, 40W quickcharge and even supports 5G quickcharge. Here’s a quick recap of the details!

HONOR 30 Pro and Pro Plus also brings 6.57″ OLED curved display which output Full HD resolution. The body size is reduced to 8.38mm and only weighted at 190g.
As for the consumer preference, it is available in black, green, aurora and post processed with AG technology which prints out HONOR logo on the side.
As for its rear camera, the HONOR 30 Pro has a 40MP primary camera, 50x telescopic zoom, 16MP ultra wide angle camera. The premium HONOR 30 Pro Plus even brings the Sony IMX 700 sensor from the HUAWEI P40 series which captures up to 50 megapixels. It also brings RYYB matrix array where four pixels combines into 2.44um huge pixel.
Similar with its premium HUAWEI flagship, the HONOR 30 Pro Plus also brings 50x telescopic camera which is accompanied by 16MP ultra wide angle camera. The camera UI also supports dark mode, AI RAW ultra portrait engine and lots more features.
All HONOR 30 series has a 50x telescopic camera and supports 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom and 50x digital zoom. The image and video is also stabilized with OIS and AIS (zoom stabilization). When zooming more than 15 times, there will be a small frame which shows the direction that you’re pointing in, thus giving a guide on object direction.
The HONOR 30 series also supports 4K @ 30 fps camera and the rear camera can support up to 4K @ 60fps capture. It also supports 4K video in ultra light environment, AIS for video and ultra slow mo up to 1920fps.
Currently, the HONOR 30 Pro Plus is awarded with score at 128 by DxOmark. It currently sits on the 2nd top just beneath of the the HUAWEI p40 series.
The front facing camera is composed of the 32MP & 8MP camera which is located on the top left area through the hole punch pill shaped display. It can capture ultra wide angle and even able to capture against the light.
As for its specifications, the HONOR 30 Pro and Pro Plus both brings Kirin 990 5G SoC and support 5G network. It is also the first line-up to support 5G network and WiFi 6+ standard.
As for its gaming performance, the HONOR 30 Pro Plus support s90Hz refresh rate and it brings 90fps frame rate into the Call of Duty Mobile game. Both the HONOR 30 series supports VC liquid cooling technology.
As for its battery, the HONOR 30 series is spec with 4000mAh battery which supports 40W quickcharging. The HONOR 30 Pro Plus even supports 27W wireless charging which is certified safe by TUV.
As for other feature, the HONOR 30 series also supports dual stereo speaker which is powered by Histen audio technology which improves gaming audio experience.

The standard HONOR 30 model comes with a 6.53 inch OLED camera which a single hole punch display. It is sized at 8.1mm and weighted at 185g.
As for others specification, it has a 4000mAh battery along with 40W quickcharge. There is also 40MP primary camera, 50MP telescopic camera, 8MP ultra wide angle camera and 2MP macro quad camera combo. As for the selfie cam, it is a 32MP lens .
The HONOR 30 also preloaded with the new Magic UI 3.1 system. The Magic UI 3.1 also will be available for the HONOR 20 series, HONOR V30 series , HONOR 9X and HONOR Magic 2 from end of April onward. We can expect local availability in Malaysia after its arrives to China.
HONOR 30 has three versions at 6 + 128GB, 8 + 128GB, and 8 + 256GB, which are respectively sold at 2999 yuan (about RM1842), 3199 yuan (about RM1965) and 3499 yuan (about RM2149).
HONOR 30 Pro is available in 8 + 128GB and 8 + 256GB versions, which are respectively sold at 3999 yuan (about RM2456) and 4399 yuan (about RM2702)
HONOR 30 Pro + is available in 8 + 256GB and 12 + 256GB versions. They are sold for 4,999 yuan (about RM3070) and 5,499 yuan (about RM3377). It will be available in China first but we still can expect HONOR Malaysia to bring this in.
