The year of 2016 has been productive for Huawei since the launch of Huawei P9 and P9 Plus along with the Honor V8 smartphone that comes with 2K display. Besides, Huawei also launched the Honor 5C that sports the Kirin 650 few weeks ago and today they have introduced a new member – Honor 8 into the Huawei Honor family.

The Honor 8 with a slogan “unique from the rest” comes with decent hardware specification and a elegant design with glass material on the front and the rear of the smartphone. It also comes with a dual 12MP rear camera on its back!
Honor 8 comes with dual 2.5D glass which has undergone 3D grating and carving process that creates a unique texture and a beautiful light reflection when tilted in different direction.
It is available in 5 different colours which are sea blue, aurora gold, pearl white, black and sakura pink!
Besides, Honor 8 also comes with special polycarbonate protective case with carved texture as optional accessory.
This smartphone sports a Kirin 950 processor clocked at 2.3Ghz and the premium version comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM.
One of the special feature of most Honor smartphone – smart button has been integrated to the fingerprint sensor which can be launched after fingerprint recognition on awake.
The 3000mAh in the Honor 8 also supports 9V/2A quick charge technology and managed under Smart Battery 4.0 application.
The 12MP dual rear camera comes with Sony IMX286 dual image sensor that specializes on colour and monochrome (black/white) detection. It supports 3 different focus mode based on contrast, depth and laser-assisted auto-focus that provide a rich photography experience. The front 8MP camera comes with 1.4um pixel size which creates a vivid and clear picture.
Honor 8 also comes with a 5.2 inches Full HD display at 1080p.
The dual SIM standby on the Honor 8 allows calls from different SIM to received simultaneously and can switched instantly.
