The new OMEN lineups comes with an entire different design from its predecessor. A clear red “X” symbol is located right at the middle of the rear display panel and further enhanced with brush aluminium and matte finish. Unfortunately, there is no backlight that makes the OMEN logo stands out from the rest.
Same goes to its bottom panel.
Despite lacking of RGB backlight, the OMEN keyboard has a deep emphasis on red with different keyboard caps on the W, A, S, D keypress.
One major difference between the OMEN 15 and 17 is its graphical processing unit. The OMEN 15 offers up to GTX1060 enthusiast level graphics card while the OMEN 17 offers more performance with GTX1070 GPU.

The OMEN desktop has a greater focus on its performance and thermal management. It offers power user level performance with dual GTX1080 or dual RX580 with SLI/ Crossfire support. It has 33% larger and more fans and 33% larger liquid cooling option with 15% larger desktop space for good flow of air.
Apart from the performance upgrade, the desktop also comes with easily swappable hard drive bay with a single press of button.

Lastly, HP OMEN also announced their collaboration with eGG Network for the HP Dota 2 competition. It opens up for 256 team where the winner gets a total of RM10,000, first runner up with RM6000 and 2nd runner up with RM2000 each for 2 teams.
