During the Spring launch event in China, HUAWEI has brought the new HUAWEI P40 series, SmartScreen X65 and HUAWEI MateBook X Pro 2020 into China market. In the meantime, HUAWEI also introduced the HUAWEI Card as their new credit card platform.
The HUAWEI Card is a joint collaboration between HUAWEI and Union Pay. Thus this credit card will be able to perform transaction in region where Union Pay is supported.
Each HUAWEI card can only be bound with 1 HUAWEI account which enhances the security of the transaction. The transaction is further protected by TEE OS along with biometric security. The highest transaction limit is up to RMB10,000 and it comes with rewards when applied first year.
Once the HUAWEI Card is activated, so does HUAWEI Pay so you won’t need to bind both account together. Nonetheless it is not released in Malaysia yet and we will have to wait.
