In the AsiaPac launch event just now, HUAWEI launches the new MatePad series which starts from RM4399 and there are three variants available in the markets ranging in screen sizes.
The MatePad series includes MatePad Pro 12.6 inches and 10.8 inches. The MatePad Pro 12.6 inches uses OLED display panel while the latter uses LCD panel. Both have 90% screen to body ratio and high color accuracy at 1000000:1 ratio and resolution at 2.5K. The MatePad11 is the first HUAWEI tablet that supports 120Hz refresh rate.
The MatePad Pro 12.6 also brings 8x stereo speakers and 4x microphone array which enhances the audio experience. Whereas for MatePad Pro 10.8 and MatePad 11, it has 4 stereo speakers instead.
HUAWEI MatePad also runs on the latest Harmony OS 2.0 with widget like functionality, potraying display to monitors and supports side by side viewing mode.
It also supports mouse control and improved connectivity with PC.
The MatePad Pro 12.6 is powered by Kirin 9000 series and supports WiFi 6+ standards. It also has a 10050mAh battery with 14 hours battery life. As for MatePad 11, it uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC and battery sized at 7250mAH for 12 hours of battery life.
