Huawei Mate 8 passed SIRIM test, pricing revealed

The Huawei all metal Mate 8 is a large 6 inches gigantic phablet that was introduced in CES 2016 a week ago. Sporting one of the most advanced processor from Huawei and an incredibly large battery capacity, the Huawei Mate 8 is about to greet the consumer from Malaysia in short period of time.

When Huawei first introduced the Mate 8 in CES 2016, it is categorized under standard and premium version with both differs in the size of storage and RAM. The standard version comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM while the premium one comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of total internal storage.

By looking at the SIRIM certification information for this device, it is likely that Huawei Malaysia is planning to introduce the Mate 8 standard version into Malaysian consumer market while there is yet to have any news for the launch of the premium version. Meanwhile, the pricing for the standard Huawei Mate 8 with 3GB RAM is at RM 2827!


During the launch of the Mate 8 at CES 2016 happening at Las Vegas, Malaysia is also happen to be one of the first wave launch country apart from others. And hence it is no surprise that the Mate 8 will be introduced in this period of time. Nevertheless, it would be great if Huawei is able to make this smartphone available before Chinese New Year as some have been anticipate the arrival of this smartphone for a long time!
