The new EMUI 9.1 from Huawei has added lots of new feature. Those includes the EROFS new file management system, GPU Turbo 3.0 and more to come!
A foreign report has stated that the Nova 4e, Nova 3e and Nova 3i with the Huawei Y9 2019 to receive EMUI 9.1 with EROFS and GPU Turbo 3.0. Other devices to receive the update includes Huawei P20, Mate 10 and Mate 9 series.
EROFS file system greatly increases document loading time up to 20% while saves up to 2GB of storage space. Since the file system is basically read-only, this make it harder to tamper and much more secure.
The update roadmap has listed out several devices to receive the new EMUI 9.1 update. Coming to next month, we could expect EMUI 9.1 will be available to download to Huawei Mate RS, Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus.
