HUAWEI Nova 7 SE hands on: An excellent midrange with 64MP quad camera, 40W quickcharge, Kirin 820

HUAWEI Nova 7 series has just entered Malaysian market recently and now we have a Nova 7 SE over here! As the new generation of Nova series, the Nova 7 SE features Kirin 820 SoC, 64MP quad rear camera and more!

Our review unit is a bluish purple with a gradient design. The iconic Nova logo can be clearly at the back panel along with the highlight of 64MP AI quad camera.

The Nova 7 SE has a quad rear camera which includes 64MP+8MP ultra wide angle + 2MP depth camera and 2MP macro lens.

The 6.5 inches display takes up most of the body thanks to the use of hole punch design. The fingerprint sensor is located at the side which provides convenience of unlock in a short time.

To comply with modern standards, it uses the USB Type C connector while the 3.5mm audio jack is retained! This is certain a good thing to be seen on smartphone as it is unlikely to be available in certain smartphones anymore.

Besides, the device is powered by Kirin 820 SoC, 4000mAh battery with 40W quickcharge. With Kirin 820, 5G will be supported on this device.

HUAWEI uses HMS ecosystem on most HUAWEI smartphone and this smartphone is too comes with AppGallery that comes with popular apps for Malaysian user! There is also MEETime that can provide high resolution video call across HUAWEI smartphone at no charges. You can use the Phone Clone to get data into your new Nova 7 SE with less hassle.

That’s pretty much all about the Nova 7 SE and we believe the Nova 7 series can bring up some suprises! Stay tuned for update!
