Huawei Y9s hands on review! 48MP triple camera, elevating front camera, full view display!

So today, we have a chance to bring you the Huawei Y9S, a midrange Huawei smartphone that’s recently launched in Malaysia! It brings an elevating front facing camera and triple rear camera and now let’s have a look!

Our first impression on the Huawei Y9s is the colour! The Breathing Crystal and Midnight Black brings their own theme which is suited for different people. The Breathing Crystal comes with a gradient of colours while the midnight black color is solid all the round.

The rear panel design is clean and minimalist. Although there is some camera description watermark to be seen beneath the triple rear camera, the world is still small and the first thing that attracts you is the colour and the camera module.

As for its IO, it has USB C port, 3.5mm audio jack and SIM slot. There is also a mono speaker and a front elevating camera.

The 6.59 inch display takes up 91% of front panel making it appears bezeless. The 16MP front camera is hidden in an elevating module which pops up when the front camera is activated in the camera app.

Spec wise, it is powered by Kirin 710F, offering 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM, 4000mAh battery and supports up to 512GB microSD card.

The Huawei Y9s currently retails at RM999 and available through Huawei online store, authorized distributor and other channel. You can click here to learn more about this smartphone.
