Intel is currently developing a chip dedicated for bitcoin mining. To be precise it is a ASIC accelerator where Intel name it as blockchain accelerator. It is based on Hassel technology, using ULV technology and offers 1000x performance compared to market GPU on SHA-256 calculation.
Currently this product will be first shipped to 3 largest mining company which are Argo Blockchain, BLOCK and GRIID Infrastructure. This card is name as BZM2 based on Intel 4 architecture with core frequency at 1.67Ghz, capable of achieve mining performance of 137GH per second while TDP at 2.5W.
