iOS 15.2 now released! Here’s what’s new.

Apple has launched the iOS 15.2 along with iPadOS 15.2. This is the 2nd major update on the iOS and iPad OS platform since the launch of iOS 15 in September this year. It is currently available for download for device that are eligible for iOS 15.

Most significant feature added to this update is the privacy notification that alert you when an app is using one of the resources. It also informs the domain name associated with the app which you can monitor from background.

Here are some of the features of the iOS and iPadOS 15.2.

1. Apple Music Voice plan

Apple Music Voice Plan is a new subscription level that allows you to use Siri to access all songs, playlists and radio stations in Apple Music
“Just tell Siri” will suggest music based on your listening history and preferences
“Play Again” allows you to access a list of recently played music
2. Privacy protection

Through the application privacy report in the settings, you can see how often applications access your location, photos, camera, microphone, contacts, etc., and their network activities in the past seven days.
3. Information

Communication security settings enable parents to enable warnings when children receive or send photos containing nudity.
4. Siri and search

The scope of guidance has been expanded in Siri, Spotlight, and Safari searches to help children and parents stay safe online and get help in unsafe situations.
5. Apple ID

Digital heritage allows certain people to be designated as heritage contacts so that they can access your iCloud account and personal information after the user’s death.
6. Camera

You can enable macro photo control in the settings of iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max to switch to an ultra-wide-angle lens to take macro photos and videos.
7. TV application

Store tab lets you browse, buy and rent movies and TV shows in one place.
8. CarPlay

Apple Maps now offers enhanced road details including turning lanes, middle lanes, bicycle lans and crosswalks.
