Lenovo launches mid-range Moto G4 and G4 Plus from RM985!

Motorola has just paved us goodbye on their journey of smartphone design and development as it is now fully acquired under Lenovo. The first product after the procurement of the Motorola smartphones are the 4th generation Moto G smartphones – Lenovo Moto G4 and G4 Plus which has been officially launched on the 17th May this year. The Lenovo Moto G4 is priced from 169 euro (RM985) while the G4 Plus is priced at 199 euros and both will be officially available on UK from June onwards!

The Lenovo G4 comes with a 5.5 inches Full HD display and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor with a battery at 3000mAh with quick charge support. There are 2 variants of the G4 for selection which are 2GB RAM+16GB ROM and 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM.

It does sports a decent 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.

The G4 Plus sports the same 5.5 inches Full HD display and the Snapdragon 617 from the G4. However, It runs on Android 6.0 with a fingerprint sensor located at the front. The fingerprint sensor also offers ultra fast recognition speed that requires only 750ms to unlock!

The camera of this smartphone is much of an upgrade. It comes with a 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and infrared assisted autofocus. Meanwhile, it does sports the same 5MP camera too.

In terms of storage, it offers 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM with the support of microSD for storage expansion. Nevertheless, it is all powered from 3000mAh that supports quickcharge technology.

The main significant difference on the design of the G4 and G4 Plus is the presence of fingerprint sensor on the higher-end model. Nevertheless, both specs are almost identical except for the rear camera and RAM/storage. The Lenovo Moto G4 is priced at 199 euro while the G4 Plus is priced at 199 euro!
