As Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) from the US has issued the global warning on the prohibition of Note 7 on flight, Malaysia Department of Civil Aviation DCA has also issued an official statement regarding the use of Note 7 on flight.
On the 17th October this year, DCA has issued an official statement where all staff must ensure passenger doesn’t bring the Galaxy Note 7 on plane, which includes the check-in and hand carry luggage. If they bring the Galaxy Note 7 on person, the passenger must report to the staff on duty.
If the passenger will be carrying the Note 7 on board, there are several rules to follow as below.
Although DCA has not strictly forbid the Note 7 on board with crime penalty, we hope that this measure is able to protect safety of other passenger on board.
