Huawei Malaysia has released EMUI 9.1 upgrade eligibility list few days back. The Huawei Mate 20 series will be starting off in the end of June and it is now confirmed to be dated at 27th June.
The download will be available on your HiCare App which includes Huawei mate 20, Mate 20X, Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 RS.
A quick recap on the EMUI 9.1, this new upgrade brings new EROFS file system management for faster app launch and all new GPU Turbo with more supported games. There will also be some AR measurement tool and One Hop for seamless file transfer. As for the previously leaked Moon Mode, it will be available for Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 X with no further details on other devices.
Please ensure that your device is not rooted and comes with 6GB vacant space as minimum.

In the coming July & August, EMUI 9.1 will be available to P20 series, Nova 3, 4 series, Mate 10 series, P10 series and Mate 9 series.
