Soon after announcing their collaboration with Huawei for 5G deployment in Malaysia, Maxis has begun development and deployment of 5G infrastructure at Cyberjaya reaching a maximum download speed at 3Gbps!
Maxis expressed that 5G speed will be 10x faster than current 4G speed and they have enough infastructure to support 5G network to achieve Gigabit internet speed for high definition VR appliances. This test will commence for 6 months.
