MediaTek has recently unveiled the Dimensity 9000 chipset while Qualcomm is preparing for the release of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This Dimensity 9000 chip is based on 4nm architecture from TSMC and all new ARM v9 with 1x 3.05Ghz Cortex X2 big core and 3x primary A710 cores. The Dimensity 9000 topples Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in terms on core clock rate, however it suffers alot on the graphical performance required on gaming.
The Dimensity 9000 sports Mali G710 octacore GPU which offers 30% improvement over the Mali G78. It acheived Antutu score of 1million mark, making it the best MediaTek chipset to date. It is still unsure which smartphone company will start using this MediaTek chip for their flagship.
