The new successor of the Moto Z Play has just been officially launched today. Moto official express that the Moto Z2 Play will be more light and thin, with a width sized at 5.99mm and it will be priced at $499 (~RM2140). Apart from the Z2 Play, Moto also launches 4 new Moto Mods as the accessories for the Z2 Play.

The Z2 Play is a flagship that offered with premium hardware such as 5.5 inches Full HD AMOLED display and it is relatively lightweight at 145g.
On the other hand, the Moto Z2 targets the mid-range market with Snapdragon 626 along with 3 and 4GB RAM as option. There is also a front 5MP and rear 12MP camera along with 3000mAh battery. Nonetheless, it supports modular extension with Moto Mods.
Moto also launches 4 new Moto Mods that target wide range of consumer with different functionality. The new Moto Mods includes the JBL SoundBoost 2, Moto TurboPower Pack, Moto Style Shells and Moto GamePad. These gadgets is ranged from $39.99 to $79.99.
Last but not least, the Moto Z2 Play will be available to purchase in this summer. The 4GB RAM with 64 GB ROM variant is priced at $499 while the 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM has yet to be announced.
