Motorola brings Edge 30, powered by Snapdragon 778G+, 144Hz refresh rate, 50MP triple rear camera and starting from RM2,067!

Motorola has bring us the newest Edge series smartphone which is the Motorola Edge 30. It brings its most powerful 50MP rear camera and a 6.5 inches FHD+ OLED display with refresh rate at 144Hz. Let’s have a closer look on what it offers.

The Edge 30’s 6.5 inches FHD+ panel is slightly smaller than the Pro version running on 6.7 inches FHD+ display while retaining 10 bit color. The display is also rated for HDR10+ and the unit comes with Dolby Atmos certified stereo speaker but without a 3.5mm audio jack.

Motorola Edge 30 is also powered by Snapdragon 778+ 5G SoC which is an overclocked version of the standard 778. It has a Cortex A78 core overclocked at 0.1Ghz and Andreno 642L GPU offering 20% more performance than its predecessor. The device also packs with 8GB RAM and has 128 or 256GB storage option and a 4020 mAh battery with 33W quickcharge.

Camera wise, it is powered by triple rear camera with the main camera offering 50MP resolution, 50MP ultra wide angle at 118 degree and 2MP DoF camera. The primary camera and ultra wide can support 4K 30fps or 1080p 60fps for video recording. It is also possible to achieve 1080p at 120fps slow mo! Apart from the rear camera, there is also a front 32MP camera.
