On the 24th March 2017, Huawei has officially launched the new P10 flagship along with another highlight – a 10000mAh powerbank with SuperCharge quickcharge technology. Despite there isn’t any news on its availability and pricing, it has now finally appeared online after few months of waiting.
The new Huawei powerbank has pretty much the same design with the previous 18W powerbank which offers a aluminium build and anodized finish. However, the new powerbank comes with more variety of colours such as obsidian black, forest green and silver.
Apart from the addition of new colours, it also support the new Huawei SuperCharge quickcharge protocol that support 4.5V/5A dual way quickcharge with maximum output at 22.5W. With a 72% recharge for just 30 minutes, it’s the best partner for Huawei P10 and Mate 9. Nonetheless, the powerbank can be fully recharged in just 2.5 hours, half an hour faster than conventional powerbank and charging adapters.
The support of 9V/2A output option brings more compatibility to Huawei P9, Mate 8, Honor 8, Honor V8 etc. As lithium batteries could poses an explosion hazard, this powerbank suffice US and and international standard and comes with 12 level of protection.
