The demand for mobile data has been on the rise as everyone is quarantined at their home while getting work done or attending online class. This is result in some users who are complaining to the telco to switch to other service provider.

In 2019, Celcom, Maxis & Digi has lost their own proportion of customer while Unifi and U Mobile has gained popularity in Malaysia. However, soon after the MCO period in 2020, Maxis and Celcom gained the highest propotion of user while U Mobile and Digi suffer from high switchover rate.

The most people who left the are those who are not able to utilize 4G most of the time as they came from rural area.
