The Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 lineup has shown the most coercive power in terms of performance among the entire series. With the newly launched Snapdragon 835 had just been released on the market along with other international flagships, there is a news on the new Snapdragon 800 series SoC that offers slightly improved performance in its CPU and GPU.
The new Snapdragon 836 to increase its core clock rate from 2.45Ghz (Snapdragon 835) to 2.5Ghz. Qualcomm also elevated the base clock frequency for the GPU on the Snapdragon 836 at 740Mhz. This SoC is expected to popularize the market in the 3rd and 4th quarter this year which is expected to be first available on Samsung Galaxy Note 8, followed by other flagships.
