Earlier yesterday, there are rumor stating that Xiaomi smartphone will no longer have GMS services which are the core services required by Google Play, Google Maps and other Google related services. However Xiaomi has clarified this rumor and state that the international version of the Xiaomi smartphone (existing and future) are unaffected by this and GMS framework will remain present on the system.
Devices in China is affected by the lack of GMS. However note that previous devices from China that already have GMS installed will still have GMS while the newer version will not have GMS framework available.
